You specifically said "XScreensaver is a security disaster," so, naturally, I thought you were referring specifically to. What did I say that requires an argument against physlock or your opinion about physlock? So, I restate my opinion about physlock and would like to hear some arguments against it. The link provided in my comment above highlights why XScreenSaver (and the KDE screen locker, and all the other ones) is an attempt to solve the problem using an inherently insecure approach. That the discussion is about the KDE screen locker is irrelevant to discussion of XScreenSaver security.
